How do I hang these folding mounting brackets?

I want to hang a small table with these folding mounting brackets that I found on amazon. They are 20 dollars for two of them and since I obviously don’t want to waste money so just wanted to know how to install them before I order them. Can anyone tell me? Here is the link. Removed

    For a wood stud I would use a lags with a washer. Kinda like a big wood screw.
