Mapei grout for large format ceramic tiles 16×16. hot weather, first time DIYer. grout dried very quickly leaving heavy residue and fiilm. How can I clean it now?

That’s not a big deal. Go to the tile store or Home Depot and pick up some “Haze Remover” Just wipe it on, let sit for a bit and wipe off with a wet towel.
