Dominick,
Thank you for all your great info and videos. I have a new Felder jointer/planer combo machine. The manufacturer recommends a 30amp breaker. The whip from the power box on the machine is a 3 wire. Do you have any suggestions for the appropriate plug/outlet combination to use? I am using Legrand 2600 wiremold for the surface run across the floor to the machine. My interpretation of the code requires 10 gauge wire for the circuit. Thank you for any thoughts you may have on my install.

Sure thing. When you say “3-wire” are you saying two hots and a neutral? red/black/white with a ground. The ground is never counted?
