I am trying to install a new slab door. The door does not fit ito the opening evenly. It starts to hit the door jamb about midway down the door. What can i do to adjust this?

Make sure the hinges are seated good. If so sounds like something is out. Just how much is it hitting. You could try to use a long screw in the hinge to help suck it in a bit. Or of course shave the door.
