My husband decided to put in the new carpeting before framing the basement. Now divorced, I have all the confidence that I can finish installing the ceiling, taping, etc. What is the best way to tackle this project? There is also a full bathroom to be completed also.

Carpet I’m sure you know is the very very last item to be installed. It would be best to just remove it and have it reinstalled afterwards.
Framing, insulation, sheetrock,painting, trimming.
