My husband and I are buying our first home and we are curious what type of wood ( exp. oak) boards would be the best option to use if we were going to do a traditional wood floor. We have 3dogs and kids so we don’t want to buy the wrong wood and have it easily scratched up.
Thank you
Nancy

Any hardwood for floors will be fine. I mean, it’s all hardwood. Just keep those nails trimmed. The dogs nails, lol.
The urethane is also very important. So check on that and not from the home stores.
