My house was built in 1960. It had old heavy wooden doors that has millions of layers of paint on them. How do I scrape and sand it down?

Please briefly explain why you feel this answer should be reported.
The best way is with a good paint remover. Careful on the sanding. Most likely it’s lead paint. Just wear a mask. I think we are all used to that by now lol.
