I’m building a powder coat oven using using regular home stoves for my elements lights ect. I have a 220 welder in my garage(black-white-green wires) how do I connect the stove electronics wire(red-black-white-green wires) to my welder outlet? I’ve tried to hook the red and black together but have fried 2 stoves already.

Not a good safe idea. But you would use the red (120 hot) black (120 hot) and the ground/green.
